Penguin Diplomacy
A downloadable storygame
Black sails on the horizon! Once again, penguin warships have been sighted off the coast of Fowland. The birds are known as raiders, sailing to the northern lands for booty and plunder. Will the foxes, the aristocracy of Fowland, manage to drive them off, or will they be too busy suppressing an uprising of the worker geese?
Penguin Diplomacy is:
- recommended for 2 to 6 players
- GM-less
- suitable for Play by Post/Forum as well as at the table
- rules available in English and German
In each of 10 rounds, players simultaneously write short statements of what could happen on index cards. These can involve all factions in the conflict: penguins, foxes, and geese. You may always come up with new characters, places, and props. Conflicting statements are resolved by rolling d20s.
